We exercise due diligence in reviewing all candidates before submission for facility access. The government may deny access to contractor personnel for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to: - Conviction of a felony, a crime of violence or a misdemeanor involving moral turpitude - Falsification of information on forms or other documents submitted - Improper conduct, including criminal, dishonest, immoral or disgraceful conduct, whether or not directly related to the contract - Any behavior deemed a potential threat to government facilities, sensitive information, systems or other resources

New employees must receive a favorable background investigation adjudication before being issued an ID badge granting access to government facilities, sensitive information, systems or other resources. The government may accept prior favorable adjudications from other federal agencies for individuals with uninterrupted service and an active PIV card. PIV-I cards from authorized issuers may also be accepted as proof of identity. A favorable adjudication does not prevent the government from initiating a new investigation if needed. At a minimum, a favorable FBI National Criminal History Check (fingerprint check) is required before a government ID can be issued. All required investigation forms must be completed through the OPM Electronic Questionnaire for Investigation Processing (e-QIP) system.
16. If I already have a government ID badge and continue working on the HSFS III contract, do I need to do anything? No action is required. The team will coordinate with government security to transfer existing badges to the HSFS III contract during the transition.
